Special Equipment Safety Act through January 1, 2014 shall come into force

Recently, the second session of the third meeting of the NPC Standing Committee voted through the "Special Equipment Safety Law",Steel crane since January 1, 2014 into effect.
Special equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, elevators, cranes, passenger ropeway, large-scale amusement facilities, field (factory) special motor vehicles. These devices generally have a high-pressure, high-temperature, high-altitude, high-speed operation under the conditions characteristic, flammable, explosive, prone to falls from a height, etc., to have greater personal and property safety hazard.
Special Equipment Safety Act seven chapters 101,hoist gantry crane special equipment for the production, operation, use, inspection, testing, safety supervision and management, emergency rescue and investigation, legal liability, respectively, detailed provisions.
Special Equipment Safety Act highlights the special equipment production, management, and use of safety responsibility, clearly states: In production, the production company responsible for the quality of special equipment; in the business sectors, sales and rental of special equipment must meet the safety requirements, use of special equipment lessor bears safety management and maintenance obligations; use in accident-prone areas, and use of safe and responsible use of special equipment,overhead gantry crane special equipment and the responsibility for retirement obligations, the incident shall be liable for compensation for damage caused by responsibilities.
