A Brief History of Cranes

  Chinese ancient irrigation is used shadoof jib crane prototype. 14th century, Western Europe appear human and animal power driven rotating jib crane. Early 19th century, the emergence of  bridge crane ,  crane important wear parts such as shafts, gears and began to use metal spreader and other materials, and began to use hydraulic drives. Late 19th century, steam-driven crane gradually replaced the hydraulic-driven cranes. 1920s onward, due to the electrical industry and the rapid development of the internal combustion engine industry to electric motors or internal combustion power plant various cranes basically formed.
Classification
     Usually structured into  jib crane   and bridge cranes. ① jib crane (Figure 1): including tower cranes, portal cranes, floating cranes, self-propelled cranes, composed by the mast and jib mast cranes, wall run along the wall line of cranes and loaded on the deck of the ship deck cranes. ② bridge crane (Figure 2): including overhead cranes,  hoist crane  , bridge and cable crane carrying (carrying cable instead of using the bridge) and so on.
